Liquid Sky Lacquer

Standard

I have seven polishes that I was sent for review by Liquid Sky Lacquer, a new to me brand. Most of these have been out, but I also have the brand new limited edition, Pinch Proof, a St Paddy’s Day polish. This is a very picture heavy post with all the polishes, but definitely worth it.

Pinch Proof is a beautiful green polish with extreme holo and multiple sized glitters.

A very beautiful polish, that has an amazing formula and excellent dry time. Definitely a perfect St Paddy’s polish, I did three coats for opacity.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer Pinch Proof, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

Black Magic Leprechaun is a black jelly with green shimmer and large clover glitters.

The clovers weren’t as hard as some other polishes I’ve used with large glitters, but letting the polish sit upside down before application is definitely helpful. The polish felt a bit thicker on this one, but nothing bad. Dry time was pretty good, I did 3-4 coats on each nail.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer Black Magic Leprechaun, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

Wink ^.~ is an extreme bluish green holo and very beautiful.

This polish is absolutely gorgeous. It has a slight shift to it among the holo. Formula was great, excellent dry time and opaque in three coats.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer Wink ^.~, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

Black Opal is another extreme holo. This one is black with a strong purple shift, which was hard to capture on camera. This one definitely has more dimensions in person.

The dry time was excellent, formula was great and I did three coats for opacity. I probably could of left it at two, but I wanted to be extra safe.

Products used: Qtica Nail Growth, Orly Bonder basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer Black Opal, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

King’s Cake is another limited edition. This one is a deep purple jelly with green, gold and purple holographic glitters of different shapes throughout.

image

image

This one has a lot of glitter in it, which made the formula feel thicker. It was almost like working with a glitterbomb. Dry time was really good, and I did three coats for opacity. This one would be great used as a topper to, I used it on its own.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer King’s Cake, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

Atlantis is a deep blue jelly with neon yellow, pink, orange and purple glitters and a smidge of holo dust.

image

image

I love the uniqueness of this polish. It really is different than anything I’ve seen. As with all the others, dry time was good, great formula, and three coats for opacity.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, Liquid Sky Lacquer Atlantis, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

Last, but definitely not least, is Bird Of Paradise, a multichrome colorshift polish. It has blue, copper, orange, purple and a few other colors in it.

I tried to capture the shifty nature of the polish, and really like how it came out. Great formula and dry time with three coats for opacity.

I love all of her polishes overall, and they would be a welcomed addition to anyone’s collection. I also love her labels, they made it super easy for swatching and naming all the pictures. All information for the store is below, and as always, thanks for reading! ^_^

Ruby White Tips: Fall Collection

Standard

Today I have two of the three polishes releasing tomorrow (9/29) in the fall set from Ruby White Tips.  The  colors I have for you today are Holy Sheet, a beautiful multichrome, and the polish I named, after my daughter (who’s birthday is today), Tira.  Tira is a beautiful pale shimmery pink.  Up first is Tira!

image

It’s a very neutral toned pink, but I believe would go with almost anything.

image

image

I used two thin coats to reach opacity, and almost could of used one.  It applied well and dried quickly with no smudging. It’s a great consistency also.

Products used: Duri Revacote,  Orly Bonder basecoat,  Ruby White Tips Tira, ellagee Glass topcoat.

Up next is Holy Sheet, a beautiful multichrome.  I don’t even know how to describe this one color wise.   With all multichromes it, of course, matters how you hold your nails.   I see purple,  pink, blue, orange and mixes in between.   I took a lot of photos of this one to try and capture all the shifty goodness.

image

You can see some of the shift even in the bottle,  it’s fun just twirling it around watching it change.

image

image

I also took some water drop pictures with this one as well.

image

image

I’m really impressed with this polish and how many shifts it has in it.  I also took three macros.

The last one is my favorite, because under the light you can see three shifts at once!  This took three thin coats to reach opacity, and also applied like a dream.  Holy Sheet dried quickly and didn’t smudge at all.

Products used: Duri Revacote,  Orly Bonder basecoat, Ruby White Tips Holy Sheet, ellagee Glass topcoat.

Overall, I’m officially in love with Ruby White Tips, and plan on purchasing more in the near future.  I’ve definitely found a new obsession brand.  These, along with one other color, are set to release tomorrow, 9/29.  Keep a look out for them on her page.  Holy Sheet is a LE, so be quick if you want to snag one!  All of the store’s information is below, and as always, thanks for reading! ^_^
