My Kinda Color: New Sparkly Collection

Standard

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen my posts about how my whole family got super sick. We’re on the mend, and I figured I’d get a post done! Today I have the new Sparkly Collection from My Kinda Color, one of which was named after me! They are all glitter bombs that have a colored glitter and holo glitter. They’re all magnificent as well. On to the swatches!

This is Jessica, a blue and holo glitter bomb. It can be used as a topper or opaque at three coats.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, My Kinda Color Jessica, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

This is Sassy, a purple and holo glitter bomb, opacity at three coats.

As you can see, Sassy has a larger glitter than Jessica, so it changes the way the color lays, just a little bit.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, My Kinda Color Sassy, I, A.M CustomColor DiamondPRO topcoat.

This is Flirty, a pink/fuchsia and holo glitter bomb, opacity in three coats.

Flirty has the largest glitter out of the bunch, but I really liked how they weren’t all the same.

Last, but not least, this is Morgan, the one named after me! Green is one of my favorite colors, so I was honored when Patty asked if she could use my name for it.

Morgan has a finer glitter just like Jessica, but with both you can see the holo along with the colors.

I loved all of the colors and polishes in this collection. They had awesome dry times and no smudging at all. If you haven’t checked this brand out yet, you really should. All her polishes are only $5 with very reasonable shipping. All info for the store is below, and as always, thanks for reading! ^_^

I had the opportunity to review some decals from Lacquer by Lissa and decided to get the holiday ones done and up since that’s right around the corner!  All the decals I show are available in her store right now to boot.  I’m going to format a little differently and post pictures with product info then do the review at the end, that way you guys can see the beauty first ;).  Let’s get to it!

As you can see, there were A LOT of manis to create.  The decals all held up to me pulling them off of the backing, being repositioned till I was happy and wear and tear.   I was surprised even with the delicate snowflakes I had no issues.  I definitely recommend picking up some holiday,  or any other, decals from Lacquer by Lissa for an easy way to dress up any mani!  All info on the brand is below, and as always, thanks for reading! ^_^

My Kinda Color: Three Polish Review

Standard

I received three polishes from Nail Polish Rack Factory’s brand new line of polishes, My Kinda Color.  I loved them all just from the pictures, so I was excited to try them.  Patty, the owner, charges a rock bottom price of $5 a bottle also, which is a great price point for an indie brand.  On to the holo filled goodness!

Up first I have Diva, a beautiful shade of purple,  with holo glitter throughout the polish.

Diva has an awesome formula that was opaque in two coats.  It’s super blingy with all the holo glitter.

Products used: Dainty Digits Polish Glitter Be Gone basecoat, My Kinda Color Diva, ellagee Glass topcoat.

The second one I received is Gold & Diamonds.  I’m not a gold person usually, but I love this shade and how it looks.

Gold & Diamonds had the same consistency as Diva and was opaque in two coats as well.  Again, gorgeous.

The third and final polish is Emily.  I picked this one because it reminds me of my birthstone, I’m a December baby!

Again, consistent formula, with two coat opacity.  This is now my favorite blue I own, it’s absolutely beautiful.  I also did something fun with this polish, check it out here.

This is definitely a brand to watch out for, her formula and consistency in each polish is awesome,  plus great colors.  All information for the store is below, and while you’re there check out her nail polish racks too, they are great!
